My Caruso

We were tasked with creating a book starting with the research and concept development phase, all the way through the final print. We started by researching the topic and gathering content. We then created the concept for the book and then designed the final piece and sent it out for printing.

Concept

I chose to create a book for the Enrico Caruso Museum of America, a small museum located in Brooklyn, New York. The booked was designed to showcase the many items in the museum. It also highlights stories of Caruso, shares the point of view of the founder and curator with the reader, and explains how the museum was created. Each section has a unique concept design that distinguished it from the others, while still being visually tied to the rest of the book.
